Physics is a natural science based on experiments, measurements, and mathematical analysis with the purpose of finding quantitative physical laws for everything from the nanoworld of the microcosmos to the planets, solar systems, and galaxies that occupy the macrocosmos. The laws of nature can be used to predict the behavior of the world and all kinds of machinery. Many of the everyday technological inventions that we now take for granted resulted from discoveries in physics.
Different field of Physics
Physics is divided into two broad categories, based on the history of the science: Classical Physics, which includes studies that arose from the Renaissance to the beginning of the 20th century; and Modern Physics, which includes those studies which have been begun since that period. Part of the division might be considered scale: modern physics focuses on tinier particles, more precise measurements, and broader laws that affect how we continue to study and understand the way the world works.
