Why Study Economics?

Economics encompasses you with analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate alternatives and make better decisions even in day-to-day life.
Economics program introduces student to the concept of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, International Economics, Econometrics, etc and are taught at introductory, intermediate and advanced level which let students explore beyond the theoretical aspects of the course. The qualitative and quantitative analysis are two different focus areas in economics which let students generate critical insights undertaking appropriate research methodologies and applications of the model.
Economics will provide a solid foundation for students interested to take up roles in different sectors like Civil Services, Financial Service Institutions, Market Research Firms, Data Processing Consulting, Economic Journalism, Research, Intergovernmental Organizations, or Non-Governmental Organizations.
